Fall Wedding at Carvers Cottage - Pickering, ON

Alison and Andrew approached me for help leading up to their wedding with my Month-of Coordination services. The couple was planning a ceremony of about 75 people and a reception of 35 people. There was going to be some moving parts with the ceremony and reception taking place at different locations. Alison and Andrew wanted to be able to step back and enjoy their wedding day, and I was more than happy to help.

Alison and Andrew had built an amazing vendor team to help pull off the details of their wedding. The ceremony took place at the picturesque Carvers Cottage in Pickering. As guests walked down the path to the ceremony site, they were greeted with a beautiful sign containing Alison and Andrew’s names carved in, followed by a welcome table filled with water bottles (much needed on the warm fall day), delicious individually wrapped cookies and dog treats for those with canine friends. Why dog treats you may ask? Not only are Alison and Andrew big canine lovers, but Alison also runs her own dog walking business. It was a cute and unique touch to the wedding festivities. Lisa from Aspen Florist, decorated the front of the alter with beautiful florals and drapery, along with a lovely arrangement set on the signing table.

Sonja from All Seasons Weddings, performed the ceremony, bringing these two lovely families together. Needing to take a moment, a few tears were shed during the bride and groom’s touching vows to each other, filled with words of sweet nothings and laughter of memories. Following the ceremony, guests were able to walk the grounds and take photos while Camielle Stewart captured the important moments of the family and couple’s photos.

While Alison and Andrew enjoyed some quiet time with the photographer, their guests slowly departed and those joining them at the Brock House, started to make their way to the restaurant. Items were cleaned up and florals were picked up to be moved to the restaurant. It was a beautiful Fall wedding that I know the couple will remember forever.

It was such a fun day and I had a great time working with Alison and Andrew. Their families were so sweet and made the experience that much more. It was a privilege to be a part of their momentous occasion. Be sure to check out the full list of vendors below from Alison and Andrew’s wedding.
